  • BEFORE R2OT

Trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Agnieszka Rowińska creates immersive installations and dreamlike paintings. Her works have been exhibited in Warsaw, Berlin, and Pisa, and developed through residencies in Iceland, Germany, Philippines and Italy

  • WHY DO WE LOVE IT

Because her paintings hover between perception and the unconscious. Minimalist yet evocative, her works draw on memory, dreams, and archetypes—inviting quiet introspection and contact with the unseen.

  • OUR ADVICE

Agnieszka Rowińska’s paintings unfold softly on a light wall. Place them where you can sit still and watch long—where time slows and the mind can wander into quiet reflection.

Alice Gauthier

Born in Paris in 1989, Alice Gauthier lives and works in her hometown. She graduated from the Royal College of Art in London in 2014, after receiving the jury’s commendations for her DNAP at the École Nationale des Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg in 2012.

Working across drawing, printmaking, and painting, Gauthier explores the primordial bond between humans and the elements — water, earth, and air. By letting gouache, ink, watercolor, and other liquids merge and crystallize on paper, she creates poetic, dreamlike landscapes shaped by organic material transformations.

Her work has been shown at Galerie Premier Regard (2017), Galerie Sabine Bayasli (solo exhibitions in 2021 and 2022), Atelier Bergère, Galerie Tajan, Espace à Vendre (Nice), Galerie Ariane CY, and the National Museum of Seoul National University. In 2022, she participated in Le Rêve du Scaphandre, curated by Elora Weill-Engerer for the VIP program of the first edition of Paris+ par Art Basel. In 2023, the Maison des Arts de Châtillon dedicated the solo show L’épaisseur de l’ombre to her, followed by Poussières vivantes at Conscious (Paris) in 2024.

Her work is now part of the collections of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and the Bibliothèque nationale de France.

In 2025, Gauthier exhibited at the Issy Biennial and presented a solo exhibition, Nous-Terre, at the Centre d’art Les Églises (Chelles). She was also selected as one of Pierre Yovanovitch’s favorites for Drawing Now 2025.
