MONIKA STOLARSKA
In her works, Monika Stolarska moves between various symbols, drawing on archetypes from the natural world such as mountains, the moon, the horizon, water, fire, and roads. The language of geometry is particularly resonant for her—it opens up a space for interpretation that speaks both to reason and intuition. She finds inspiration in constructivism and modernist architecture, discovering within them rhythms and phenomena that mirror those found in nature. For Monika Stolarska, these movements represent a human attempt to reconcile the world of spirit with that of matter.
Her creative process is often sparked by visual and emotional experiences—especially those rooted in the natural world. She processes her emotions, recorded images, and intuitive impressions, weaving them into a personal artistic language. Central to her work is a deep interest in relationships: she explores the boundary where humanity ends and nature begins, the connections and mutual influences between the two, and the act of locating the world within oneself—and oneself within the world.
