The piece was produced in the Kozienice Furniture Factory in the 1970s.
A multifunctional cabinet: it can serve as a side table, TV stand, turntable and vinyl cabinet, small bookcase, or bedside table… The spacious drawer features a hand-painted Op Art motif, created with matte acrylic paint.
The dark brown veneer has been restored: the high-gloss finish was removed, and the veneer was stained dark brown and finished with a matte water-based lacquer.
This is a modular piece of furniture, with the possibility of combining multiple units.
The cabinet has been restored and finished according to the principles of the upcycled vintage trend, complemented by my artistic vision.
All restoration work was carried out using traditional methods, preserving the aesthetics of the era in which the furniture was created, supporting the idea of zero waste.
